July Favourites!

Hellooooo! Another month has passed by us so it's time for our July favourites. Everything is linked so if you want to check them out then just click on the titles.

Beauty

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
As we were going on holiday Brooke was looking for a BB cream to take rather than a foundation so she decided to go with this one and she loves it. The BB cream is nice and light on your face which is perfect for the summer time and it is not cakey at all, and it has the right amount of coverage for what she needed. It's also a very good price at £7.99.

Nivea Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream
In my last month favourites I added a Nivea night cream which I had been using all month and because I loved that one so much I decided to try a Nivea day cream. As soon as I used this cream I knew it had to be in these favourites because it's just like the night cream except lighter. It smells great, gets rid of my dry patches around my nose and it make your foundation apply easier and look great. A fantastic product which is currently on sale in Boots at the moment at only £1.99! It is normally priced at £3.99 but even then it's still a bargain.

Soap & Glory Glam-A-Lot Body Spray
This body spray is a firm favourite within our house and we always repurchase it if we run out. It is a floral smell but not the typical floral fragrance. I am really bad at trying to explain smells haha but if you are ever it Boots go and smell it, I promise it won't disappoint! Unfortunately I can only find it within a set on the website, which I have linked in the title, however I'm pretty sure that they still sell the individual bottles in the shop.

Fashion

Primark White Sandals
These sandals are a simple summer staple and are something that everyone should have in their wardrobe. They go with any outfit, are super comfy and only cost £8! What more can I say except go and buy some :)

Books

Safe Haven
Me and Brooke have both watched the film and we love it so we decided to purchase the book for the holiday. She hasn't read it all yet but is currently hooked to it. The book has more of an in depth story line than the film where you learn more things about the characters and the situation she has run away from. From the first page you just want to read more and more which is what we look for in a book. Fantastic!

TV

Gossip Girl
Okay so where do I start with this one......I love Gossip Girl! I watched it when it was on the TV and I've always wanted the box set so that I could go back and watch them all over again, so when I opened this on my birthday I was over the moon! The series is set in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and follows a group of rich/social elite teenagers. It's all about their time at school, the relationships between them and of course trying to find out who Gossip Girl is! Brooke never watched it when it was originally on so we have started watching them together and I can confirm that they are even better the second time around.

Accessories

Ted Baker Salso Opulent Bloom iPhone Case
For my birthday we went shopping in Nottingham and I decided that I wanted to treat myself to a new Ted Baker phone case. I have only ever had one before however they are amazing quality and they look fantastic. They are £29, however if you have an NUS card or student card then you can get 15% discount which is fabulous!

What have been your favourites this month?

Hope you enjoyed,

Ellie & Brooke

  4. I've never seen the movie of that Nicholas Sparks book. But I bet it's amazing. I haven't read the book either, and maybe I'll try reading it.
