February Favourites

Hello my dears! As we are nearing the end of February (say what!) here are the things I have loved this month.

Beauty

The first thing that I have been thoroughly enjoying this month is the Sleek Face Form palette. I featured this product in a recent purchases post back in December and I cannot express enough how fabulous this palette is, I would definitely recommend anybody to try it. It’s an all in one kind of product and contains contour, highlight and blush. One amazing point about this product is that the contour is not at all orange on pale skin tones. Being ginger my skin is obviously very pale and on me a lot of contours or bronzers can be very orange, this then clashes with you hair (which is not a good look), however this contour does not have this effect at all and it looks great on the skin. If you haven’t tried it already, go out and buy it!

The next things I haven’t stopped using this month is the Chanel Eau Tendre perfume. I recently reviewed this perfume so if you want to go and read that here is the link. This perfume has always been my favourite and I don’t think there will ever be a time when I don’t want to use it. It’s such a pretty, light, floral fragrance and it’s just gorgeous.

Fashion

Now this first fashion item had no trouble making my favourites this month and it’s my tartan scarf. This was actually from Primark and I think it only cost £4 but I love it so much and wear it with pretty much everything.

Another thing I’ve loved this month is these black pumps which are again from Primark. I can’t be certain but I think they cost about £10 which is great for a beautiful pair of shoes. They are black suede with a gold buckle and they look so much more expensive than they cost plus they go with everything so they are perfect.

Non-Beauty

One of my non-beauty favourites is the Twilight Saga books. I read them after watching the first film but I decided to read them again. I have finished the first book and I’m currently half way through New Moon. I forgot how much I loved these books until going back to them so I am super glad I read them again. As much as I love the films, slightly due to R Pattz, the books are always better to me and this series does not let you down.

My music favourites this month has been Mumford & Sons and Shakira.

Now I absolutely love Mumford & Sons old album Sigh No More so I had high expectations for the new one. At first I didn’t particularly like it so didn’t bother listening to it, however thanks to the power of shuffle a song came on and I really liked it, so I decided to give the album another try and I think it’s really good. My favourite songs on the album are Babel, I Will Wait and Whispers in the Dark.

Now on to Shakira. I love all her old stuff anyway, but her new song with Rihanna is amazing and I can’t stop listening to it.
